My Must Have Beauty Essentials

Okay, remember in my intro post I said I was going to be better about blogging this time around?? I am really trying here folks! Both girls decided to nap at a really weird time today because they are playing "catch up" on their sleep so I am typing away while they snooze! I thought I would keep my first post a little fun.

Since I am constantly on the go, I have very little time to beautify myself in the morning. Especially on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's when I have to throw both girls in the car to get Shannon to school, or if I have a day of errands and I need to be back home at a certain time to put Savannah down for a nap. (I think we can all agree that having your child fall asleep in the car when you are five minutes from home is one of the top five most annoying parenting situations that can occur!) Long story short, I don't have an hour, or even a half hour in the bathroom. I only have minutes. However, with these fabulous easy to use products, thankfully it only takes me minutes to look halfway decent.

This stuff literally keeps my skin (mostly) clear. I do get the occasional blemish from stress, but this stuff really keeps my face clear!

These! THESE! If I do not have time to wash my face in the morning, or if I am simply too tired to shower at night, these wipes do just the trick. Plus they smell super good!

Like I said above, if there was a night where I did not feel like showering and I wake up the next morning smelling like toddler and food from the day before, this ((and deodorant)) does the trick.

There have been multiple occasions where strangers have come up to me and asked me if my eyelashes were fake. I always reply with a "Nope, just added some mascara," and they immediately ask what I use. If you want long (and I mean loooonng) lashes, THIS is what you need in your life.

What I love about this product is that it acts both as a concealer and blush. I put it on the apples of my cheeks and it put the perfect amount of color back in my face without my cheeks looking too red. I first tried it when it came in one of my monthly Birch Boxes and I have been hooked on it ever since!.

I have tried three dry shampoo's in my life and this one is by far the best at making my hair not feel greasy and gross. I am Italian, and with that comes hair that gets greasy six hours after you wash it. It is one thing that annoys me the most about my hair. I will spray this in my hair when it is starting to get on the dirty and greasy side and it feels like it just absorbs and gets rid of all the the oiliness in your hair. I bring this whenever hubby and I go on a getaway, and keep a smaller bottle in my purse. I (personally) would recommend this shampoo for hair tends to get on the oily side very quickly, because too much of this stuff can really make your hair feel stiff.

It is chilly and the winter air will make my lips and knuckles crack terribly! This stuff is in my school bag, diaper bag and purse! Not to mention, I love the cool and tingly sensation it gives your lips when you put it on. Shannon hates it for that reason... but I love it.

Okay, so confession time. As soon as I had Savannah, I noticed my eyebrows were thinning. I had post partum hair loss, and it was not extreme, but I just remember my eyebrows did not look as 'full' anymore. I am not for painting or drawing eyebrows on foreheads, however, this pencil is my most favorite thing on this list. I will 'touch up' spots on my brows and this pencil really allows your eyebrows to still look beautiful, natural, and dare I say it, on FLEEK!

Like I said above when I was talking about our cold and dry winters, my knuckles get destroyed by the cold to the point where I am in pain. I put a dab of this on my hands, and the dry skin literally goes away within seconds!

Although it is not the exact one pictured it is pretty close! I do not always have time to curl my hair, but if I want to throw a few curls in my hair fast so that I look presentable to society, this does the trick! I also found that this curling iron allows my curls to stay in for quite a while without falling. It just really works for my hair!

Last but not least, I have to mention that all of these amazing products can be found on Amazon
Whenever I am about to run out of a product I just Amazon Prime it, and it is at my door before I am completely out! Go check some of these magical things out!

Welcome

Hi everyone! I have made the big decision to start blogging (again). This time I’m a little more serious about it. I have so many ideas I want to share with other moms and I also want to have a place to simply write my thoughts. write about our life, and also use it to look back on memories. Kids grow fast so it is nice to have a place to come to when the day is over with a glass of wine and blog about happy times and milestones. Maybe some five on Friday's and 'favorite mom things of the moment' will be in the line up of future blog posts. I have blogged before but was never very "good" at it. I guess that means I did not post as often as I wanted to, and my pictures were not ((not)) quality. I am not a photographer, but ever since I got my DSLR it makes such a difference when snapping pictures. As the girls get older and they are able to do more fun things, it makes my list of things I want to share with others grow that much longer. Stay tuned and I hope sometimes you leave my blog a little more inspired.

Time is a thief and these babes are growing way too fast.
