Hello and happy July! I hope you are all having a great start to the week. I wanted to share all about our Fourth of July after the long week and weekend. So much food, partying, and swimming! We started off our Fourth of July festivities with a Buffalo Bison's baseball game on the third all with music and fireworks. Every year on the third of July. Coca Cola Field has a big celebration and we go every year!
Can we just take a moment to talk about what a difference a year makes? (I'm not crying, you're crying!)
After getting home late, and a good night sleep, I went out for some patriotic donuts at our favorite donut shop. I could eat a dozen of the chocolate frosted with sprinkles all by myself. Their donuts are so fluffy and wonderful! Every time I walk in the door with the big Paula's Donuts box the girls lose their minds! However, do jelly and Bavarian cream really have to be their favorite? #foreveramess
Later on that day we went over to my moms house to swim, throw some water balloons at one another, eat some delicious food, and have a few adult drinks before fireworks.
The girls swam, drank juice, ate popsicles, and played for hours until it was time for dinner. We even got to play with long time friends. These girls are a hoot together.
And the Fourth of July would NOT be complete without my mothers Rice Krispie treats! We bring a huge plate of them to eat while we watch fireworks at the University at Buffalo campus.
This was right before we left for U.B. I found the sweetest little balloon banner at Target that I have been saving for over a month now just to get a picture. But lets be honest and say that (real life) happened and this was the best we got! I do love it... and I love them!
And another blast from the past, Fourth of July 2017, just one year ago. How is it possible that they have grown so much?! Time is a thief!
I hope you all had a patriotic, fun, safe, and happy Fourth of July week! Now time to take a little rest from all of the mayhem.
